When you think of holiday shopping does this come to mind?
Each year I find myself trying to fight the crowds and decided last year that I would rather be doing this instead of freezing my keister off looking for a sale!

This year my must buys will include a pair of toms for my niece and the never ending list of toys including doc mcstuffins talking Stuffy and talking Lambie. Have you seen any great deals?

Coupons.com is hosting a Cyber Monday Sweepstakes where they are giving away a $500 Amazon gift card-how amazing would that be to win just in time for the holiday season? You can enter the giveaway here-I would love to see one of my amazing readers win and have the best holiday surprise. I cannot wait to get my 15% off toms and some clothes for my niece. Best Organic Cookies!

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the absence we have been traveling and fighting the flu. As promised I will be posting even more organic recipes and ideas moving forward. Anyone catch Dr. Oz yesterday about the gmo's and pesticides in our food?

Here is the best cookie recipe I have ever tasted:

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose organic flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) organic butter, softened (I melt in the microwave)
  • 3/4 cup  organic cane sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed organic brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large  organic eggs
  • 2 cups Best Life Mini Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 375 and wait for the oven to beep-so important so the cookies come out perfect! This recipe also makes a ton of dough so we split into 3 and put in the freezer for later. The tiny chocolate chips are best because they spread out and are to die for delicious!

Combine all in a bowl and cook for 8-10 minutes. I pull out at 8 minutes and let sit on the hot stove to cool so they can settle and cook a little more. Enjoy-finally a cookie I feel good about feeding my daughter!
