Halloween is a week away!

In honor of one of my favorite holidays I thought what better way then to celebrate by telling you about some great candy! Now we will get to a great candy giveaway soon but first let me tell you about a great candy that is good for your teeth! How is that possible you ask? Are you ready for the holiday season? I know Halloween is next week but I am already full blown into holiday shopping. We had my daughter make a list of her top ten toys and guess who made #1 Cutie Pops Dolls. Have you seen these dolls yet?

We found ours at target and they even have adorable pets! Here is the pet we purchased and we have the doll above in the middle. Each doll has there own pet with interchangeable pieces.

If you have not seen the Cutie Pops Dolls or there friends I highly suggest roaming the toy isle next time you are at Toys r us, walmart, or target. Each dolls comes with hair that easily "pops out" and can be changed in seconds. Our girl came with not only the blond hair you see above but with pink hair made of yarn-I absolutely love the texture difference between the two and my daughter loves that she is control of styling her doll. Along with the hair each comes with different bows, and pieces to change their dress-they even sell additional clothes/hair separate from the dolls and play sets. The doll  also comes with a set of "sleepy eyes" as my daughter calls them which really allows her to realistically interact putting her dolly to bed.

Of course we loved our doll so much we went out and bought the pet with also comes with an interchangeable tail, ears, and collar detail. Both are really high quality and can be posed very easily...our Cutie Pops have completely replaced barbies and I find that they reach a larger age range and increase tactile learning.

Looking for something to do this weekend?

Fall is in full swing and it time to turn the summer fun into fall outings. One of our favorite thing to do in the fall and winter is to take little miss to the movies. As you know our last movie adventure was a complete success and I am looking forward to spending the fall watching her enjoy more and more movie adventures. This weekend another great film will be released that is sure to delight the whole family. Here is a little more on Little Red Wagon:

Imagine this-shopping at the mall and finding the perfect shirt...for me this was not always a great reality. I am so in love with all the tunics for the fall but they seem so low cut! Of course there is no way that I can wear a shirt with tons of cleavage hanging out to any place practical. New favorite laundry "helper"

So you have all read in the past that I make EVERYTHING I can to save anyway I can including laundry soap and dish soap. Now that I am back at work I cannot believe how quick the laundry soap disappears and I find that I don't have the time to wait for the homemade stuff to thicken so I just buy at the store. It makes me so frustrated because I know that this soap is mostly water and I am just tossing money away....trust me my husband thinks that you should fill that little laundry cup each load! So I was looking for something simple to use like those dryer bars-no worry just toss and go...I don't have to measure and don't have to worry about someone using 5 times the soap recommend. I came across the Robby Wash laundry ball and have to admit it seemed way to good to be true-I mean it was so easy just toss the ball in and go. So I tried it and after two weeks I must say I am in love. The first few times I used it I would literally smell each piece of laundry that was washed...how could this little easy ball get my clothes clean and save me time! It is also green and free of many of the harsh chemicals in your shelf detergent which is one of the big reasons I started using homemade soap. I must say the ball is very cost effective and I cannot imagine every going back to those traditional soaps with the measuring cups that leave behind sticky cups and hands. I also love that little miss can help with the laundry and really feel like a big helper. Speaking of toddlers and laundry the Robby Wash Ball came with this magic little stick that will seriously make you question any bottle of stain remover you have ever used. I tend to stay away from the sprays because they leave the greasy ring or don't remove the stain-not always but enough clothes have been ruined for me to learn my lesson. Are you ready for Halloween? Introducing Brave 2012

Ah Halloween-my ultimate favorite time of the year! I absolutely love all the decorations, fall festivals, and of course the costume! This year little miss is choosing to be Merida from Brave and we found the best Brave costume and accessories! 

 The Brave movie is this years new costume thanks to the release of the Disney movie! We are so excited my daughter has all the accessories-just look at this little cutie-she can hardly wait to show off her wig!

So where did we find all these great things-Wholesale Costume Club! They had everything-the wig, the bow & arrow, and the dress. We even found great gold sparkle shoes at Target on clearance...I am so excited everything cost less than buying the dress alone at the costume store. My daughter loves the detail on the dress including her Merida "button". I love the quality of the dress-I have washed it twice and it still looks fantastic. The dress also has the perfect shaped sleeves to fit over a light coat on a cool Halloween night. I know we will be buying one for her the dress up chest at daycare-this dress certainly holds up to any princess! Not into princess dresses?
